The adventure continues!

We
went to the "Tonight Show" yesterday with our visitors Chris and Sam. Unfortunately,
today could not be quite as fun because today was...MOVING DAY! So today was
spent packing and moving boxes and driving back and forth.

When
it was all done though we went for a nice dip in our soon to be "ex"pool and
then had a delicious dinner at an Argentenian restaurant called La-La's. The
internet's own Christopher Lee Harris had an especially good time as you can
see here.

The Unbreakables on TV Tomorrow Night!

Sunday, May 07, 2006

In theory, "The Unbreakables:Operation Egg Drop" will have it's world television debut tomorrow night at 12:30. It will be shown as part of a show called "G4 Late Night Peep Show" on the G4 network. You can read more about the show here.
Check your local listings to find out if you get G4 and be sure to set your Tivos and vcr's if you can't stay up past midnight!

Puppet Fab Fab Karaoke Party!

Because I worked as a "guest" fabricator for a few weeks in the Robot Chicken puppet department I was honored with an invitation to their karaoke wrap party! It was at one of those karaoke places in Koreatown where your group has their own private room. I had never been to one of these places before but I have always wanted to go. I was not dissappointed. I think that a fun time was had by all and there wasn't person there who didn't sing! Click here to see more photos of the party and last but certainly not least...a video! Watch your favorite fabricators singing their little hearts out!

Rachael Ray Who?

This is a picture of the newest member of our family. It is a vintage Chambers gas range from the 1950's. I bought it on eBay this past week for a great price and we just picked it up yesterday. Not only is it the stove of my dreams but it is the same stove that Rachael Ray has on 30 Minute Meals! Rachael Ray is one of my cooking heroes so that just makes this stove even more exciting for me. We won't be moving into our new place until the end of the month though, so for now there will be no cooking, only drooling.

A Garver's Worst Nightmare

Saturday, May 06, 2006

In exchange for help moving our new table saw and stove, we treated our friends B-Dogg and Brett Baldridge to a meal at the Garden Royal. This is a restaurant in our neighborhood that we have never been to before. Boy have we been missing out! It's a Mediteranian restaurant with decent food but AMAZING atmosphere. The entire dining area is outside with waterfalls, beautiful gardens AND animals! There are some birds in cages and some just walking around and there were two super sweet rabbits hopping around! If you know Bryan Garver you'll understand the title of this post but if you ask me this place is a dream come true.
